Why did you want to join the internship program?
I was interested in becoming an intern with the department because it aligned with my passion for education, cultural exchange, and community engagement. As a student in the Chinese Teacher Education program, I want to promote Asian languages and culture while connecting with others who share similar interests. Through this internship, I hope to help organize events, mentor students, and contribute to the AAAS Student Newsletter. These experiences will strengthen my leadership, creativity, and communication skills while supporting the department’s mission to build community and celebrate cultural diversity.
