The Arts Everywhere: Showcasing Transformation from Chemistry to Art exhibition,
part of the CAS Arts Everywhere Initiative, invites student artists to reflect on chemistry, not just as a science, but as a
metaphor for change, connection, and material transformation.
This exhibition, to be showcased in the Chemistry building, asks:
- What happens when we think of art as a kind of experiment?
- How do materials react, transform, or interact?
- What meanings emerge from those reactions?
The CAS Arts Everywhere Initiative (AEI) was designed to facilitate the widespread display of student art and musical performance across the Stony Brook campus and assure that the Arts continue to remain vibrant, supported, and celebrated.
