About the Program

Journalism Without Walls takes place during summer or winter break. Before going on the trip, students will take a 1-credit on-campus course to learn about the trip destination, its history and culture, and begin to lay the groundwork for finding and reporting stories.

Students must be in good academic standing with a GPA of at least 2.0 to participate. There is no language requirement.

Journalism Without Walls is offered in partnership with the Stony Brook Study Abroad Office.
