COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SPOTLIGHT

Climate Change Sustainability Tabling
I had the incredible opportunity to host a Climate Conversation event at Stony Brook University, where students engaged in thought-provoking discussions about sustainability and climate action!
A huge thank you to Dawn Villacci and the Auxiliary Services Association Community Engagement for partnering with me to help organize and bring this event to life! Together, we were able to create a space for students to ask climate-related questions and win amazing sustainable prizes!
I also encouraged students to get involved by signing up as volunteers for our Compost Program - an initiative that plays a crucial role in reducing waste and fostering environmental stewardship on campus.
A big shoutout to everyone who participated and to those who signed up to volunteer - together, we can make a real difference in the fight against climate change! Let's continue to raise awareness, take action, and create a sustainable future for all!
