Joining a Career Community is easy and just a few clicks away! Simply update your
profile in Handshake and select the Career Communities you wish to join. While you
can join multiple communities, we recommend limiting your selection to two or three
(at most) for the best experience.

Become a Member of One (or more!) of our Career Communities
Career Communities are groups of individuals who share similar interests, goals, experiences, and knowledge. Our eight Career Communities focus on specific interests and industry sectors rather than academic majors. To learn more about the different Career Communities, click on the icons below.
You can choose a Career Community that isn't directly related to your major—it's perfectly fine! There are no mandatory meetings or extra steps required. Being part of a Career Community simply keeps you informed about all relevant happenings in your community.
