October 19 & 20, 2015
Melville Marriott Long Island
Melville, New York, 11747, USA

CEWIT2015 is the premier international forum on the applications of emerging technologies in infrastructure, healthcare, and energy, which are three of the most critical components of a smarter global environment. Specific topics of interest for this year's Conference include, but are not limited to The Internet of Things; Cloud Computing, Networks, and Security; Health Technologies and Medical Devices; Big Data Analytics and Visualization; Smart Urban Systems and Smart Energy; and Information Technology and Society. In addition to the multiple new and recurring sessions this year, highly anticipated are the return of very well received Intellectual Property Panel, and the Student Poster Session.

The New York State Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT) at Stony Brook University has been organizing this annual international conference since 2003 with a repertoire that has expanded significantly over the years to now encompass information dissemination, IT entrepreneurship, and elaborate cross-disciplinary research. The CEWIT Conference has gained international recognition as one of the leading conferences on the development and application of emerging technologies, bringing together academic research and industry innovations at a single forum. The goal of the CEWIT Conference at large is to disseminate innovative solutions and research findings to address major technical challenges facing the development of a smarter global environment. The relevance of information technology in addressing the challenges in healthcare, energy, and infrastructure has been more important in the last decade than ever.

The CEWIT Conference again returns to Long Island after a very successful 2014 event that welcomed over 500 attendees from 14 countries to the two-day program featuring 3 renowned keynotes, 55 academic and industry experts in 8 sessions, 13 distinguished panelists in 3 panels, and over 70 high quality poster presentations.
