Assistant Professor
Required Qualifications
PhD in financial mathematics, financial engineering, applied mathematics, or a closely
related field. Demonstrated ability or potential to teach at the undergraduate and
graduate level. Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have an established record of achievement, including published papers.
Candidates should have a capability to pursue and obtain external funding for research.
While all applicants working within the general areas of financial mathematics/engineering
will be considered, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the ability
to conduct empirical analysis in finance and/or a good knowledge of the practical
implementation of financial regulation. Ideally, a candidate has 3-5 years of experience
in teaching quantitative finance.

This is a tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime
provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: August 2018.
