Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Physics or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Specialization in Computational Condensed Matter Physics.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The successful candidate will have demonstrated research credentials in developing and/or applying new concepts, methods, and numerical algorithms that will advance our understanding of condensed matter physics, the ability to attract independent research funding and a keen interest in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and being involved in department and university activities.

Special Notes

This is a tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: Fall Semester 2018.
