Assistant Professor

Required Qualifications

M.D.  New York license eligible.  Primary certification (Board eligible/certified) in Dermatology or Pathology.  Completion of one year or training in Dermatopathology in a program accredited for such training by ACGME.  Background in diagnostic Dermatopathology and clinical dermatology.  Patient care experience.  Teaching experience.  Other expertise (i.e. clinical studies).

Preferred Qualifications

Additional years of experience.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The successful candidate should have a commitment to academic values, interest/skill in teaching medical students,  Dermatology and Pathology residents and the ability to engage in independent and collaborative translational research related to skin cancer.  The incumbent will participate in continuing medical education programs, develop/deliver lectures, attend and participate in Grand Rounds.  The incumbent will also support and conduct independent and collaborative research.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated start date: 8/1/2018.
