Assistant Professor
Required Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from a CODA accredited institution or equivalent foreign degree.
- NYS dental license or eligibility.
- Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from a CODA accredited postdoctoral
program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology (ABOMP).
- PhD, MS or other advanced degree.
- Clinical and teaching experience within the last 5-10 years.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The selected candidate will serve as the Program Director of Postdoctoral Education
in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine, be responsible for the development of professional
service activities (Biopsy Service), and be involved in the Department's clinical,
academic, research and administrative activities at both the predoctoral and postdoctoral
levels. Candidates should demonstrate clear potential for academic growth in teaching,
clinical practice and research, and possess excellent communication, organizational
and interpersonal skills.
Special Notes
This is a tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime
provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: July 1, 2018.
