Clinical Assistant Professor

Required Qualifications

NYS MD license, experience working with healthcare teams. Experience teaching clerkship reflection small groups, pre-clinical medical students in professionalism and ethics courses, graduate courses in clinical ethics, disability and bioethics. Ongoing experience on a hospital ethics committee and related clinical ethics case consultation services.

Preferred Qualifications

MA Degree in bioethics, excellent writing skills, and the ability to mentor medical and graduate students.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The division seeks a faculty member at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor who holds the MD and MA degree in bioethics, who can assist in relevant administrative tasks and contribute as a role model to a culture of compassionate care.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: June 15, 2018.
