    Biography

    Serena Clark is the Director of the MA in Public Policy and a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science. She holds a Ph.D. from Trinity College Dublin (Republic of Ireland), MA from the University of San Diego, and BA from San Diego State University. She is a Rotary Global Grant Scholar and has consulted for the United Nations and Economist Intelligence Unit.

    Research

    Serena Clark’s research takes a ‘seeing from below’ approach to examine how policies are experienced by the people most affected by them. Her work spans immigration and migration policy, political extremism and social movements, technology and development, visual politics, education, and health. Her work has been published in an array of sources including Nature Communications, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Peacebuilding, and British Educational Research Journal
