Bob Venero, President & CEO, Future Tech Enterprise, Inc.
Bob Venero took a start-up company from the basement of his Long Island home in 1996 to an industry leading end-to-end IT solution provider with over 100 employees and revenue set to exceed $100 million. Bob recently earned the Long Island Business News “40 Under 40” Award, which honors outstanding members of the Long Island business community under the age of 40 who have already begun to distinguish themselves in the business sector. He frequently appears in the media and speaks to audiences about technology trends, the IT industry, management, entrepreneurism and closing the deal. Under Bob's leadership, Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is a dynamic international resource for Fortune 1000 organizations looking to increase efficiencies, save resources and remain competitive. Future Tech leverages its strong relationships to deliver solutions and services for systems, networks, infrastructure, security, storage management, software, data center, portfolio management and more using a variety of industry-leading solutions that improve business resilience. Bob is the founder of The Bob Venero Children’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare, health and happiness of children through innovative technologies, all designed to help celebrate the indomitable human spirit. The following organizations have benefited from his heartfelt generosity: The New York Philharmonic, The National Center for Disabilities, The American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Hofstra University, The Cradle of Aviation, The Red Cross, Good Samaritan Hospital, Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, The Smile Train, Long Island Fight for Charity, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and many more. Outside of his extensive business and community commitments, Bob serves on several business advisory boards including: The Energeia Partnership, CEWIT (Center of Excellence for Wireless and Information Technology), Stony Brook Deans Council/College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Good Samaritan Hospital, Long Island Software and Technology Network, Suffolk County Wireless Commissions, VAR Business, Economic Development Team for Suffolk County, Workforce Investment Board for Suffolk County, Long Island Business Leader for KeySpan, United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk County, and the Advanced Research and Technology Center. Bob was recently named to the board of the Long Island Angel Network, which provides early-start funding and direction for Long Island-based technology companies. in addition, Future Tech is featured in President Bill Clinton’s book Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World for the company’s “Coins from Kids” campaign that raised more than $30,000 for Hurricane Katrina victims. The local community recognized Bob for his dedication to education by establishing the Bob Venero Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship for graduating students of Bayport- Blue Point High School.
