Assistant Professor of Marketing
The College of Business at Stony Brook University invites applications for a tenure
track faculty position in marketing beginning Fall 2025. This position is at the
rank of Assistant Professor.
The Assistant Professor will be responsible to successfully work on a college approved
research program or other intellectual contributions that result in publications in
top tier academic journals within Marketing as fits the research program of the Professor.
These publications will serve to enhance the reputation of the College of Business
at Stony Brook University. The selected candidate will be responsible for participation
in college administrative and/or college committee assignments and to provide service
to the Stony Brook University community. The successful incumbent will be responsible
for teaching Digital Marketing Strategy, Marketing Analytics and other Marketing courses
at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and to contribute constructively to
the ever-advancing quality of education.

The Assistant Director of Graduate programs will be responsible for managing the graduate College of Business Programs. The main functions of the role will be rendering admissions decisions as well as academic advising and academic success of the students from admissions through graduation. Incumbent must possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience successfully working independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving. Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
