Upcoming Events
February 1 - Enjoy a Seawolves Women's Basketball Game
Join us as we celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day on Saturday, February 1 at 1:00 PM, when our Seawolves take on Monmouth. This special day recognizes the power of sport to inspire, empower, and advance girls and women as athletes, leaders, and champions—on and off the field. We invite you to be part of the celebration, support our student-athletes, and help honor the impact of women in sports.
Free tickets to 50 staff members, 4 per staff max. Deadline for free tickets is Thursday, Jan. 29th. You can purchase additional tickets here: Women's Basketball Tickets.
Events and Membership
New members of our campus community are welcome! Enjoy these relaxing, entertaining and safe spaces. Share, learn and have fun through meaningful conversations and connections.
Here are examples of our engagement on Stony Brook East or West campus and Stony Brook Southampton:
- Create a peer support circle to discuss challenges, celebrate wins, and offer emotional support.
- Attend sporting events to cheer on our Seawolves.
- Enjoy an event at the Staller Center.
- Attend a night of music in Southampton.
- Learn from informal meetups or coffee chats where people will share tips on connecting to resources in our local community.

To become a member of Colleagues in Community, please sign up through this survey so you can be informed of upcoming meetings and events. There is no cost associated with membership and no time commitments.
Members can attend as many meetings and events as they would like. Individual membership in SRGs is strictly voluntary and open to all employees who are interested in joining, regardless of identity. Refer to the SRG benefits and guidelines for more information.
