FE Graduation Cords
Stony Brook is a participating institution in the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) initiative to recognize students that pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam before graduation. Stony Brook students that pass the FE exam can opt in to receive free graduation cords to wear along with their academic regalia at graduation ceremonies.
Interested? Follow these instructions:
- Visit https://account.ncees.org/grad-cord/
- Opt-in via the NCEES record.
- List your graduation date (month and year) on your record.
- Indicate you are earning your degree through your institution (Stony Brook University).
Students typically must have their FE exam completed by the end of March to receive their cords for the May graduation ceremonies. Students completing their exams after March should email deb.klein@stonybrook.edu for guidance.
