M.S. Application

Students accepted into the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology (MCP) MS program will have strong scientific backgrounds with an average of B or better in their undergraduate coursework.

Undergraduate coursework in biochemistry or physical chemistry, while not required, will be an asset to your application.

Research experience is also viewed favorably but is not a requirement for admission.

Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores are not required, but a strong performance on the GRE will reflect positively.

Admission to the program is highly competitive and is based on available space within the program. See below.

All candidates for admission to the MS Degree in Biomedical Science (Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology track) should apply online through the Graduate School's website: https://graduateadmissions.stonybrook.edu/apply/
