Catherine Scott is the Director of Educational Effectiveness where she leads campus-wide assessment initiatives in measuring student learning outcomes and administrative outcomes. She supports units in planning, assessment, and accreditation functions to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Catherine provides strategic advice and consultation to faculty, staff, and leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, projects, and activities across the university. Catherine has more than a decade of assessment experience, including a decade of service to Stony Brook University. |

Kimberly Hachmann, MS |
|
Kim Hachmann is the Assistant Director of Educational Effectiveness. In this role, she supports campus-wide assessment initiatives focused on measuring student learning outcomes and administrative outcomes, advances institutional accreditation efforts, and contributes to academic and administrative program review activities. She works collaboratively with units across campus to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Kim serves as the principal support to the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) and provides critical expertise in accreditation standards, reporting, and best practices. She also plays a key role in the development in ongoing refinement of the Office of Educational Effectiveness' content management system, helping to streamline assessment, accreditation, and program review processes and improve the accessibility and use of institutional data. Kim has over 20 years of experience in higher education, including more than a decade in assessment and educational effectiveness, as well as extensive instructional experience in Allied Health and Community Health, which informs her work supporting effective, sustainable assessment and accreditation practices. |

Krista J. Emma, MBA, PMP |

Krista serves OEE as an Educational Effectiveness Specialist, working closely with faculty and staff to support a culture of sustainable assessment practices across Stony Brook University’s academic programs and administrative units through training, workshops and consultations. Krista has a decade of experience in higher education administration, including accreditation, assessment, program management, student services, and enrollment management. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education Policy & Leadership. |

Diana Jernigan-Breedy, MPA, MSEd |
|
Diana is an Educational Effectiveness Specialist supporting the design, implementation and analysis of program assessment data. In this role, Diana works alongside Stony Brook University programs to utilize data to guide strategic planning and enhance the student experience. Diana's experience encompasses 20+ years in human resources, special education evaluation, and organizational analysis. |

Glenn provides the Office of Educational Effectiveness (OEE) with data extraction, management, and analysis services. He is responsible for the development and management of the OEE Content Management System, ensuring seamless organization and accessibility of institutional effectiveness materials. Additionally, Glenn designs and implements Tableau dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the office. He collaborates with stakeholders to develop technology-based solutions that streamline business processes and enhance overall productivity. Glenn has over 24 years experience in higher education within Information Technology and over a decade of service to Stony Brook University. |

Ling is a Program Evaluator who collaborates with various university departments, faculty, and staff. Her role involves supporting evaluation efforts for special population programs and educational initiatives. Specifically, she assists in developing and implementing comprehensive evaluation plans for various projects, ensuring they align with the University's mission and goals. Ling has extensive experience in learning development and assessment across various education types and levels. |

Izabella J. Stakley |
|
Izabella is a Junior Grant Evaluation Specialist who assists with the design, implementation,
and analysis of evaluation projects across university programs and initiatives. Her
work focuses on collecting and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of grant-funded
activities and ensure alignment with institutional goals.
Izabella has experience in survey design, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and
reporting. During her time as student at Stony Brook University, she co-founded the
Student Assessment Council to amplify student voices in the assessment process.
