APA Accreditation

The doctoral internship in psychology at Stony Brook University’s Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CAPS) has been accredited by the American Psychological Association since 1988 with most recent re-accreditation in 2024. Our next re-accreditation visit will be in 2034.  The internship program has two positions available each year. The APPIC  membership number is 1492.
