Qiongran Dong

Qiongran Dong is a rising junior majoring in biology with a minor in English on the pre-med track. She is a member of the 2024 Stony Brook iGEM team and currently serves as secretary of the Synthetic Biology Society. In addition, she works as a research assistant in the Moll Lab at Stony Brook Hospital. This summer, she is participating in the Weill Cornell ACCESS program, conducting research on the mTOR signaling pathway. Outside the classroom, Qiongran volunteers at the Stony Brook hospital and mentors for Reading is Fun, a program that provides international students with opportunities to engage with English literature and supports their language learning.
