Jaymie is a sophomore double majoring in physics and mathematics with a minor in philosophy. She is an S2 Simons STEM scholar and an event coordinator for the National Society of Black Physicists (NSBP) chapter at Stony Brook. Her academic interests include earth and planetary sciences, astronomy, and the intersection of science and philosophy, and she's been involved in physical oceanography research on campus. She will also be a BLISS peer mentor for the 2025-26 academic year and a CTRL + ALT + CREATE intern with the College of Arts and Sciences.

Outside of academics, Jaymie spends her time reading, listening to music, laughing with friends, and entertaining her philosophical interests that may or may not have real-world applications.
