Rojae Mighty is a transfer from Farmingdale State College student majoring in physics. He conducts research at Brookhaven National Laboratory, where he studies the internal spin structure of the proton using high energy collision data. On campus, he is involved in the Black and Latinx Student Council, the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program, the National Society of Black Physicists, and the Socially Just Seawolves program. Rojae is committed to helping more students gain access to academic opportunities not just by making them visible, but by advocating for systems and relationships that connect students to the people and resources that make those opportunities real. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball at the campus recreation center. If you see him around, feel free to say hi.
