Bill Forman
President and CEO of North Atlantic Industries
While leading North Atlantic Industries as President and CEO, Bill Forman has transformed the company from a small manufacturer of high performance instruments to a leader in the design, manufacture and delivery of critical command and control systems to the military, industrial and commercial aerospace industries.
Previously, Forman held positions as Director of Finance at Dell Computer and Division Controller at Advanced Micro Devices.
Forman is passionate about STEM education and creating opportunities for disadvantaged children. He supports several initiatives that engage and inspire young people to pursue science and technology careers, such as FIRST robotics, the North Atlantic Industries Engineering Teaching Lab at Stony Brook University, and Publicolor, a not-for-profit organization that uses color and design to transform public spaces and schools.
He volunteers his time on various boards and councils that foster innovation and collaboration in the engineering and aerospace sectors. In addition to serving on the Dean's Council for the College of Engineering & Applied Sciences at Stony Brook University, he is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University, serves on the Advisory Board of Enlightenment Capital, and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization.
From the University of Rochester, he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration.
