Bob Schwartz

Chief Technology Officer at SS&C Technologies (Retired)

Robert Schwartz retired from his position as Chief Technology Officer at SS&C Technologies (formerly GlobeOp Financial Services) in 2018. In that role, he managed the infrastructure and many aspects of technology for this global provider of investment and financial software-enabled services and software, focused on the financial services industry. 

He was also the Chief Technology Officer at Lehman Brothers and a Development Manager at Bankers Trust. 

In addition to his service on the Dean’s Advisory Council and Computer Science Advisory Committee at Stony Brook University, he serves on the board of the New York Blood Center and the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club. 

Schwartz earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. To give back to his alma mater, he and his wife Ellen created the Schwartz Computer Science Scholarship.
