Eddie Shek

Dr. Eddie Shek is a technology consultant helping companies make product management and engineering more effective, in roles ranging from fractional CTO/CPO, technology advisor, to executive coach.  He has extensive hands-on experience leading full-cycle software product development, large-scale SaaS solution deployments, data and business intelligence, corporate IT operations, and professional services in fast-
growth environments in a variety of industries.

Dr. Shek has held roles including co-founder and CTO of Vizional Technologies and TrackX (supply chain logistics and industrial Internet-of-Things), CTO at Level Data (K-12 education data and compliance management), CTO at Ready Education (higher education student experience), CTO at HaulPay (digital freight factoring and payment processing), CTO at Proxi (local delivery and fulfillment), and VP Engineering at MagicLinks (social media commerce).

Dr. Shek received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from UCLA and his B.S. (summa cum laude) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. He serves on the Board of and was formerly President of the UCLA Engineering Alumni Association. He is also a Board member of the Stony Brook University Alumni Association, and a member of the Stony Brook University School of Engineering and Applied Science Dean’s Council.  He is a founding member of and mentor at the LA CTO Forum.
