Richard Bravman, an entrepreneur, operating executive, and board member, has 45 years of experience in the area of information technologies at companies ranging from start-up to global S&P 500 companies, and the growth stages in between. His current leadership roles include CEO of Coastal Ventures, Chief Operating Officer of Affinity Solutions and Strategic Advisor at TrustWrx. He has also served on the boards of many companies in the technology sector.

At Coastal Ventures, an advisory firm he founded in 2004, he serves as its principal partner, providing strategic consulting and board services to the executive management of emerging and early stage technology companies, and to their investors.

He is currently in an extended client engagement, serving in the role of Chief Operating Officer of Affinity Solutions, the industry leader in consumer purchase insight solutions.

Prior to taking on the Affinity Solutions assignment, Bravman served as President and CEO of Pivot3, a venture-backed supplier of converged storage / compute appliances, as Vice President, Corporate Development and CMO for NCR, and as Chairman and CEO of Intelleflex Corporation, a provider of on-demand data visibility solutions for cold chain and asset management.

Early in his career, he joined Symbol Technologies (later acquired by Zebra Systems) as its fifth employee in 1978. His responsibilities increased over 25 years, as he worked his way up to the top leadership role of vice chairman and CEO.

Bravman earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, graduating in 1978.
